I join the Volvo Powertrain Operations in 2001 to steer the strategic planning. It includes the distribution of volume forecasts in the different plants, the production capacity pre-studies to cover our evolving needs (like produce locally or import, make or buy), drive the provisional investment plan and develop the long term global industrial plan.
In 2012, I take the responsibility of the industrial development of transmissions, already made in Sweden and under implementation in USA and Brazil.
One year later, my scope is extended to the Medium Duty engines, under industrialization in France and with the “Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicle” joint venture in India.
In 2014, together with the addition of the Heavy Duty engines, I become director for the industrial development of the entire Powertrain scope.
Indeed, my main mission consists in animating the strategic dialog with the executive management and the different stakeholders (product planning and development, manufacturing engineering, purchasing, finance and corporate strategy). I develop long term industrial roadmaps balanced by external game changers and internal enablers.
