My Project

I am working since 28 years in the automotive industry within the Volvo Group, the parent company of Renault Trucks since 2001, over two distinct periods: The first about fifteen years spent in the technical area (test center, engineering department) and the second, in purchasing and industrial strategy and projects.

Nowadays, I am willing to discover new environments and get involved in a human size company operating in the Lyon area. I am offering my skills in strategy definition to companies with growth ambitions (both internally and externally) , or facing new challenges in their purchasing or industrial organisation.

My career in the technical area started in the test center with the trucks handling and steering features. I have worked with famous companies like Michelin or Renault on the testing know-how sharing or with R. Bosch or ZF on the development of new Vehicle Dynamics Electronic Systems. I worked later in the Chassis Engineering Department with smaller suppliers of cab and engine suspension components.

Then, I have worked on Strategies in the international context of the Volvo Group, first in Purchasing with the 600 M€ per annum Axles commodity, then with the industrial development in charge of the powertrain scope (engines and transmissions) and recently in a project of Joint-Venture in Algeria from its creation until a full year of production.

I have always been focusing on creating value for the customers, bringing synergies between the company and the external partners. I can now transfert my three main skills to achieve my goals:

1. I know how to lead the strategic dialog with executives, being able to listen and compose with specific objectives to build a holistic strategic vision, considering both constraints and uncertainties.

2. I master an extensive expertise in vertical integration and industrial footprint development questions, combining fair processes with rationals and  political sensitivity.

3. I enjoy working in collaborative teams, developing skills, know-hows and behaviors with colleagues, while providing meaning to our work contributions.

You can get more information about the following points:
